Warehouse Team Leader - Co Wicklow (Kilpedder)

Our client, a renowned leader in the global handmade home fragrance industry, has grown into one of Ireland's premier family-owned businesses. Supplying premium retail partners across over 45 countries, they are seeking to expand their team by hiring a Warehouse Team Leader. This key role oversees PO receiving, stock putaway, inventory management, and coordination of 3PL warehouse storage. This role ensures efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory control, and smooth stock movement.

Location: Co Wicklow

Work Schedule: 8am - 4pm (Mon - Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

1. PO Receiving & Stock Management

• Oversee inbound shipments, verify goods, and report discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation and system updates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the Purchasing Manager on delivery issues.

2. Stock Putaway & Warehouse Organization

• Supervise putaway for optimal storage and accessibility.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety.

3. Inventory & Transfer Order Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Coordinate stock transfers to the factory and third-party partners.

4. 3PL Warehouse Coordination

• Manage stock movement and storage with 3PL providers.
• Monitor transfers between company warehouses and 3PL locations.

5. Leadership & Compliance

• Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff.
• Provide reports and updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Warehouse Operations - Expertise in receiving, putaway, inventory, and logistics.
• Leadership & Team Management - Strong ability to train and lead teams effectively.
• Attention to Detail - Ensuring accuracy in inventory and compliance.
• Systems Proficiency - Experience with WMS, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Forklift Certification - Valid forklift and high-reach truck licenses.
