Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide workflow development, procedure development and documentation, scheduling, quality control, and library customer support.
  • Provide maintenance, report creation, and support for public access computers, if available. Support daily library operations and physical collection integrity.
  • Circulation Processing: Process all library materials with appropriate tracking material.
  • Circulation Returns: Check in all returned and newly processed MS Library material, including: print, audio and visual collections. Check out waitlisted items and prepare for delivery. Shelve checked in materials, if needed.
  • Circulation Shipping: Fill out an inventory sheet for each mail run and prepare mail for pick-up and delivery. Prepare and send material intended for domestic and international delivery according to Microsoft shipping policies.
  • Provide support to customers via chat, email, telephone and in person by answering circulation, content and reference questions, escalating when necessary.
  • Support customers through individual and group library training sessions using templates and guidance provided by MS Library communications team.
  • Market, promote and build awareness of MS Library services, using templates and guidance provided by MS Library communications team.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Information Service, Library Management, or Customer Service.
  • Experience in a technology company preferred.

  • Microsoft Office suite
