Senior Sales Executive
Our client has nearly 56 years experience in the logistics/supply chain industry is looking to recruit a Senior Sales Executive. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for securing new customers, maintaining and developing existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed targets set in terms of contributing and generating revenue
- Conduct and report on sales leads and transform these into revenue generating business
- Maintain records of customer details and contact touch points
- Identify potential customers and register opportunities; relentlessly pursue additional opportunities (Value Added Services) leading to revenue for the company
- Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams
- Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings and coaching
- Independently qualify potential sales opportunities including the full scope of customer potential
- Report on all progress and the completion of sales targets
- Willingness to travel as needed
The Ideal Candidate:
- Customer focused, with an awareness of logistics, warehousing, value added services and customer service concepts. Direct experience within the logistics/pharmaceutical/nutritional/dairy markets will be a distinct advantage
- Meet and exceed revenue targets set per service portfolio
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to sell both Inside (phone and email solicitation) & Outside (face-to-face meetings, proposals, closings)
- Motivated, competitive and resilient attitude with a strong work ethic
- Strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills, and business acumen
- Must be able to work under pressure and efficiently within time constraints
- Ability to collaborate and network at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and close deals
