SeaFreight Coordinator - Dublin 17

Our client, a top-tier Irish logistics provider, is on the lookout for a talented and proactive Sea Freight Coordinator to join their vibrant team in Dublin 17. Location: Dublin 17

Work Schedule: 9am - 5.30pm (Mon - Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

Managing shipment bookings for liner and forwarding operations.
Overseeing the full shipment cycle-from booking to delivery and payment.
Delivering exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients.
Negotiating with local and international vendors to secure the best rates and services.
Organizing transport arrangements for collections and deliveries.
Handling sales and purchase invoices, resolving queries as they arise.
Preparing rate quotations and responding to rate requests.
Navigating customs clearance processes, including SADs and related requirements.
Driving the development of sea freight services and overseeing vessel attendance.
Providing operational holiday cover and administrative support across freight departments as needed.
Engaging in occasional client visits and taking part in special projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

2 - 3 years of experience in sea freight operations.
Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems. (CargoWise would be a distinct advantage but not essential)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
