Production and Procurement Specialist - Co Wicklow
Our client, a renowned leader in the global handmade home fragrance industry, has grown into one of Ireland's premier family-owned businesses. Supplying premium retail partners across over 45 countries, they are seeking to expand their team by hiring a Production and Procurement Specialist. This key role involves overseeing sourcing, supplier management, production planning, and demand forecasting. The successful candidate will ensure the timely availability of raw materials and finished goods while optimizing costs and upholding the highest quality standards.
Location: Co Wicklow
Work Schedule: 9am - 5pm (Mon - Fri)

Key Responsibilities:
Supplier & Subcontractor Management
- Manage raw material suppliers and production subcontractors.
- Negotiate SLAs with suppliers, transport companies, and subcontractors.
- Optimize inbound transport rates for parcels and pallets.
Sourcing & Purchasing
- Source and procure quality raw materials at cost-effective rates.
- Coordinate with Creative and Managing Directors to align stock availability with product launches.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Prevent stock outages by maintaining safety stock levels for all SKUs.
- Ensure accurate data management in the NetSuite ERP system for inventory and new SKUs.
Production & Demand Planning
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans for in-house and outsourced production.
- Align production schedules with sales orders, forecasts, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure demand planning meets business goals.
Systems & Process Optimization
- Ensure ERP systems reflect accurate production plans and raw material orders.
- Continuously improve processes for production planning and supplier collaboration.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute production and demand strategies.
- Analytical Thinking: Skilled in data analysis and forecasting.
- ERP Expertise: Experience with systems like NetSuite for inventory and production management.
- Negotiation: Strong ability to secure favourable supplier and subcontractor terms.
- Collaboration: Effective coordination with Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
- Leadership: Experience managing supplier and subcontractor relationships.
