Payroll & Accounts Assistant
Location: North Dublin
Permanent onsite 1 day hybrid
Our client a well-established company in North Dublin is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role involves managing payroll processes while also supporting the wider finance function with accounting tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with both HR and the Finance team, ensuring smooth payroll operations and assisting with financial administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for approximately 50 employees using Quantum.
- Ensure payroll accuracy based on time management system data.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger tasks.
- Support the implementation of the new Government pension enrolment scheme.
- Work with ABM accounting software under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
- Collaborate with HR and the Finance team on payroll and finance-related queries.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in payroll administration (Quantum experience is a plus).
- Background in accounting or finance, ideally at a junior accountant level.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience with ABM accounting software is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with HR and finance teams.
