​HR Manager - South Region (Bus Éireann)
Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid - Based in Cork

We are excited to partner with Bus Éireann to recruit an experienced HR Manager for the South Region. Based in Cork, this role offers the opportunity to manage a small team delivering comprehensive HR services across the Southern Region. Reporting to the Strategic Workforce Planning & Recruitment Senior Manager, you will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute an annual people plan to enhance employee experience.

  • Partner with regional management to design and implement tailored HR and recruitment services.

  • Report on all recruitment and retention KPIs.

  • Agree and implement effective resource planning for the region to support delivery of business goals, proactively supporting the attraction, retention, and development of people to deliver on Bus Eireann's vision and strategy.

  • ensuring all processes are compliant and aligned with best practices.

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.

  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including trade unions.

  • Ensure compliance with training, driving regulations, and other necessary certifications.

  • Build strong liaison with CIE Medical Department on medicals and any issues arising with attendance, absence, etc.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in HR management or supervisory roles.

  • Proven track record of delivering HR services to support business objectives.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office.

  • Relevant third-level qualification in HR or Business.

  • Full clean driving license and access to own transport.
