We're looking for a Generator Service Engineer based out of Grangecastle, Dublin
The site is running critical power 24/7
This role will include shift work of 4 on 4 off, 12 Hour Day and Night Shifts
What you'll do:
- Carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on equipment including servicing, systematic fault finding and repairs.
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly checks on equipment.
- Responsible for procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.
- To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics
- Assisting with the installation and demobilisation of equipment.

You'll have the following skills and experience:
- Qualified / Part-Qualified Mechanic and or Electrician
- Experience of working with generators or in Power plant environment
- The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with standards and local legislation
- Ability to work autonomously when required with the ability to coach and mentor
- Good organizational & communication skills
- Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
- Able to manage a client's expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation
