Communications Specialist
ManpowerGroup are currently recruiting for a Communications Specialist to work with our client SAP. The role is remote based with some travel to the Galway office required on occasion. This is a 12-month contract position with a possibility to extend where you will be employed by ManpowerGroup and work on assignment with SAP.
Responsibilities
Communications Support:
Assist in the creation of messaging, assets, and deliverables for media publications and learning content.
Collaborate with external agencies and public relations teams to ensure timely content delivery.
Coordinate messaging and deliverables in partnership with internal/external stakeholders.
Marketing Support:
Assist with team reporting (e.g., consumption data, monthly reporting metrics).
Handle team space and administration for internal sites e.g. SharePoint, Assets4Success, Opal, and Digital Library.
Coordinate team meetings, events, and outings, and assist with scheduling and logistics.
Provide support for team tools and site access, ensuring smooth operation of internal resources.
Education & Experience
University Degree or College Diploma program in communications, journalism, linguistics, literature or related area desirable.
3-5 years marketing experience required.
Preferred Skills
Editing experience.
Writing media publications and content.
Writing background.
Professional user of MS Office (Power Point, Outlook, Skype, Zoom, MS Teams).
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
Must be able to work well as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
Previous experience working as part of cross functional teams would be advantageous.
Must be capable of working in a matrix environment.
Fluent in English, both spoken and in writing.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
