Area Sales Representative (Lubricants) Connaught

Our client, a leading provider of premium fuels and lubricants, proudly serves households, farms, and businesses across Ireland. On their behalf, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager - Lubricants to lead and expand their operations across the Connaught region, covering Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, and Sligo.

  • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in field sales; oil distribution knowledge is a plus.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities.
  • Organized and Efficient: Skilled in time management and meeting deadlines.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, profitable relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring excellent account management and top-tier customer service.
  • Sales and Credit Targets: Achieve agreed sales and credit targets while generating new business in the assigned area.
  • Sales Closure: Secure sales by building rapport, showcasing product capabilities, and addressing objections.
  • Market Insights: Provide competitor feedback and industry insights to support market strategies and product recommendations.
  • Pricing Management: Ensure competitive pricing within the area on a daily basis.
  • Collaboration: Partner with local Commercial Managers and Head Office teams (Sales, Credit, Finance, HR) to drive results.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at promotional events like agricultural shows.
