The general outlook for the year ahead is that there will be another positive increase for the sector. As with most sectors many employers are very specific on the criteria they are hiring for and will only consider candidates who meet their exact requirements.
The type of specific requirements they are looking for include stronger sector and industry knowledge, relevant qualifications or expertise such as recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development and more project management skills.
There has also been a steady increase in the number of HR Shared Services Centres with more HR Business Partner roles as companies move towards that model to maximise the impact HR has on the business.
